Date Field - I'd like to not include / when entering

Another software allows me to enter the numbers for a date without the / and the field would fix itself when I hit enter. For example, 100219, then when I hit enter, the forward-slash would appear 10/02/19. Two less keystrokes would be helpful during data entry.

I enter dates when I convert KMZs and copy them to a table.
