I know Esri recently added the ability to see storage size by user, but use of credits this way cannot be managed with the current credit allocation system. It would be great to be able to put a limit on this for each user.
any progress after 8 years? ...
Would it be possible to get a response from Esri on this given it's been 8 years since it was posted? The cynical among us may start to believe that Esri don't want to provide the ability to limit credit use for storage as credits are obviously a source of revenue for them. It's extremely frustrating for us as we're constantly having to monitor the usage to make sure our users aren't blowing through our allocation uploading massive datasets. In a world where data storage is also becoming an issue due to the carbon footprint of servers, Esri should be doing all they can to help limit the amount of data their users are publishing to the cloud. We'd also like to use our credits for other things such as data analysis but we can't really as it's all going towards storage. Any enhancements to the management of this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
