Create a feature layer view as a table (by hiding the spatial field)

Hide location info from sensitive datasets (to be able to share with the public).

I know this is 2 years later but I agree.. I have to maintain 2 almost identical items - one feature layer and one table to share with the public because I don't want to share sensitive geometry. It would be nice to hide geometry in a feature layer view instead.
