Be able to change Story Map Collection features from numbered to just dots

In Story Map Collections, I feel like a user should be able to change story maps being numbered to just dots since not all stories are in chronological order or come in a specific order. For example, I am showing crime over the last 30 days in my city but it's not like assaults are over arsons for any reason.
