Allow users to find symbols with keywords in Map Viewer
I respectfully request the implementation of a keyword search function within the Map Viewer symbol changer. This addition would demonstrably improve the efficiency and ease of use for users seeking to modify map symbols.
This means that when you are changing symbols in a map, you should be able to search for symbols by keyword. This would allow you to quickly find the symbols you need, without having to browse through a large list of symbols.
I believe that this feature would be a valuable addition to ArcGIS Online. It would make it easier to find and use symbols, which would save time and reduce errors.
This is planned for our next release when in list mode for the symbol gallery. It will search name and tags of a symbols. This will work with the esri provided vector symbols along with your own published symbol galleries from web styles. This wont be supported with Map Viewer Classic symbols.
