Similar to when you open a web map in AGOL, there is a list of layers that is in the map. Basically reverse this so in the feature layer item details page, you have a list of maps that, that layer is in. This would help a lot with organization and seeing what maps need to be checked if changes to popups, symbology, etc. is taking place.
