The way that you can update the visible range of a layer in map viewer or web apps, but make sure it works for layers within a group layer as well. Working at a regional district we have web maps/apps with many layers grouped together for publishing to make it simpler. We have users who need to adjust the layer visibility/scale at which certain layers in the group become visible for exporting maps using print tools on our apps. Currently, the functionality that appears to be built-in to adjust this range does not work when layers are grouped together. The only way to do it currently is to go to rest services and grab the url and then add the individual layers again and duplicate them to adjust the added one's visible range. It would be much nicer to just allow these visible ranges to be adjusted for all layers, regardless of if they are grouped or not.
