Add 'only' next to a layer in the layer list and the WebApp Builder Layer List, so clicking it would turn on that layer ONLY and turn off all others. The 'only' would show up on a hover from the cursor. This is how Google Flights and SkipLagged.com work. It's a very effective UI.
