Another day another lack of documentation at least that i can find. I'm trying to configure a notebook to get parameters from layers in an EXP builder app(after publishing as a web tool) and the logic i want needs to:
- select a layer from the map widget
- select from a list of choices which query logic to use for a date field
- Populate a date field by default but give the option to change it if the name differs between layers
- Output the query as a layer in the map widget (this will then be printed to pdf)
According to the basic guides from esri the choice list should just be an option when you choose string, long, or double data types. There doesn't seem to be a lot of written examples for interacting with their own apps as a published web tool. Any help to better understand how to configure these parameters for use in a Exp Builder app would be much appreciated
