I have a question related to modeling flow in 2D aquifer systems. What I am trying to do is model how one flow line (like a fracture in bedrock) splits into 2 routes (splitting into 2 fractures), having 50% of the flow going through each route.
Then, at a later time, the flow (as in an aquifer system) may reconnect into one flow path, or fracture.
I'm wondering how I can create 2 different routes through Network Analyst with one command. Each route would represent the flow from 50% of the water in the original fracture.
Is there a way to do this? Is there a better way to deal with this problem? Thanks for any help.
