I am analysing some GPS data for waste collection vehicles, measuring things like length of day worked.
One thing would like to find is times where the vehicle is stationery for a prolonged period. This is to work out how long might be taken for breaks. I have thousands of points from the GPS data which are time stamped. The time difference between most points is about a second or two. I would like to identify where there are a series of points in the same location for over a certain period of time, say five minutes.
I have noticed this can be done with Spatial Analyst, but I do not have that extension.
