We have a network dataset that is stored within SDE, from what I understand this cannot be versioned for the network to work (we are using 9.3.1). The network at the moment is requiring a lot of editing and I would like to implement topology to ensure that the data intersects correctly etc. However topology requires the feature class to be versioned. Am I missing something? I was thinking that the dataset would be edited, topology to check that the edits are ok and then rebuild the network to incorporate the changes. Is this possible within SDE? Is there a better way to manage this?
