this could well be a Spatial Analyst query but thought I might run it by people in here first:
I am currently investigating ways to model a large drainage network and have been playing around with setting up a geometric network and then using the Utility Network Analyst to trace flows etc..
Of particular interest to me would be a way (if it were possible) of automatically assigning flow direction to a line based on high res contour data whereby a line may be automatically "flipped" to reflect the actual flow direction.
any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
