We’re planning to upgrade ArcGIS Monitor separate from our ArcGIS Enterprise environment. Currently, we run Enterprise 11.2, and will be for the next six months while we upgrade other systems.

Can anyone confirm whether ArcGIS Monitor 2025.0 is compatible with Enterprise 11.2?

Thank you!

Hi @Evan_OKeefe,

Can anyone confirm whether ArcGIS Monitor 2025.0 is compatible with Enterprise 11.2?

Yes, ArcGIS Monitor 2025 is compatible with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.x to 11.5, which includes 11.2. This means Monitor can register and collect metrics on components from these releases.

The only caveat is that ArcGIS Monitor 2025 needs to use the ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 Web Adaptor if you want to deploy a reverse proxy for logging into Monitor.

Hope this helps,

Hey @Evan_OKeefe

I can't seem to find any solid answer just yet, but I did find that at the bottom of the 2025.0 installation page it did mention 11.5 specifically, so the answer may be that it can only run on 11.5, but I'm not exactly confident so I'll continue looking, here is the page: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/monitor/latest/install/windows/arcgis-monitor-system-requirements.htm at the very bottom!

Thank you, Cody. I saw that too, which obviously puts the brakes on things, but I was really hoping that that wasn't the case.

Hey @DerekLaw

Would you be able to link the source for the information you provided? I had quite a bit of trouble finding that specifically, if this is internal to Esri only, would it be possible to create a documentation post with this?

HI @CodyPatterson,

Would you be able to link the source for the information you provided?

We don't have a "compatibility matrix" type document for ArcGIS Monitor and ArcGIS Enterprise releases - is that what you mean?

ArcGIS Monitor generally supports all releases of ArcGIS Enterprise that are in extended support or general availability.

Hope this helps,

My question, is the docs for Monitor 2025.1 state you must use Esri Web Adapters 12.0 or greater. Is that accurate? I am so hoping it is not, otherwise that effectively places all 11.5 Enterprise platforms at risk.

To help clarify, for ArcGIS Monitor 2025.1, if you want to use a reverse proxy for logging into Monitor, then you will need to use ArcGIS Web Adaptor 12.0.

If you have ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5, and you want to use the ArcGIS Web Adaptor 11.5 for those components such as the enterprise portal, ArcGIS Server, etc. You can. And you can still register them with ArcGIS Monitor 2025.1 to collect metrics on them.

Hope this helps,
