We have ArcGIS Monitor installed and running but can it monitor if a SQL Server Instance is running or that a SQL Geodatabase is accessing connections?
There is an add-on called EgdbSQL that connects to the actual SQL instance to pull additional stats (connections and uptime being 2 of them). You could set an alert to sound off when the uptime is 0, which would be not running.
@ReeseFacendini Sorry for this outdated comment but this is very nice post about ArcGIS Monitor. I'm wondering if this version of EgdbSQL can support SQL Server 2022, and if so should I use the most recent client tools of SQL Server?
Appreciate your support.
Thanks
