I am experiencing an issue where a significant number of expected metrics for an Enterprise Geodatabase (EGDB) running on SQL Server 16.0.1000 (SQL Server 2022) are missing in ArcGIS Monitor 2025.0. The component is registered successfully, but not all data is being collected.
This issue is specific to this one database instance. I have a parallel deployment of ArcGIS Monitor 2025.0 monitoring an almost identical Enterprise Geodatabase, and all metrics are present and being reported correctly.
The key differences between the working and non-working environments are the SQL Server version and the cloud platform (Azure vs. AWS). The metrics are missing for the newer SQL Server version (16.0.1000, which is SQL Server 2022) hosted on Azure.
Troubleshooting Steps Performed
- Cleared Web Browser Cache and re-launched ArcGIS Monitor.
- Restarted the ArcGIS Monitor Agent service on the machine monitoring the SQL Server component (Component A).
- Unregistered and Re-registered the SQL Server EGDB component in ArcGIS Monitor with different accounts. This did not resolve the issue.
- Tested Another Database: A second, different EGDB on the same SQL Server 16.0.1000 instance was registered in ArcGIS Monitor 2025.0. Metrics were also missing for this second database, indicating the issue is tied to the SQL Server instance or version, not the specific geodatabase.
- Confirmed Connectivity: The Component status in ArcGIS Monitor is green, and the initial connection/discovery was successful.
