After upgrading to 11.2 this weekend, Monitor was unable to see my server, so I upgraded to 2023.3, and now am unable to register my server due to the following timeout: E_SERVER_TIMEOUT: Request timed out after 60000 ms.

This potentially appears to be related to how many services it is trying to load into monitor and it taking too long.  We have another server that we can add just fine (it only has 2 services on it currently vs 200+).

Any ideas?  Is it possible to increase the timeout time?

I did a full reboot of all enterprise boxes last night and it unclogged everything.  Was able to quickly re-add the server as previously.

Hi @valenj88,

What URL are you using to register the ArcGIS Server site? (e.g. private port vs. web adaptor). I have successfully registered an ArcGIS Server site with 10,000 services, so I don't think this has to do with the number of services. This sounds more like a communication issue between the machine where Monitor is installed and the ArcGIS Server machine.

EDIT: Another suggestion from a colleague: in a browser, try accessing the hosted folder from the server's admin endpoint (https://server.domain:6443/arcgis/admin/services/Hosted). Does this take an unusually long time to load? (>1 min) If so, please try restarting the associated ArcGIS Data Store service and then try registering again in Monitor.
