As part of capturing usage statistics for services (using the request received metric) we would like to be able to also report on these by geographic location of the source IP address to gain a better understanding of the users of our data. This could also be limited to capturing the requests per IP per service and then we could geocode these ourselves with an external provider or look up whois the source IP to gain greater insights into our users..
