I am really happy with the incident options in ArcGIS Monitor 2023, however it would be great if you could create a custom Recurrence option to be able to create an incident for a schedule with a non logical range. In our case we have scheduled maintenance for the next year but with no logic in dates. I would like to configure those dates in the recurrence part of the "Edit Incident" configuration screen

Hi @Sander ,

Thanks for the suggestion! To rephrase/clarify, your situation calls for several arbitrary periods of time with no "logical recurrence" pattern to them? As an example:

- March 28 at 0800 to March 29 at 1400

- April 15 at 1000 to April 15 at 1300

If that's correct, I suppose configuring several "non recurring" Incidents could be used, but perhaps the ask is to have them all under one Incident?

Thanks

hello @EsriEvan ,

Yes you are right; We have planned Maintenance a year ahead (for several groups of servers) without logical recurrence and yes we we want to create 1 incident for this year (per group)

Kind regards

Sander

Recurring incidents are meant to reflect periods of downtime or maintenance that occur on a regular schedule. For this use case, we recommend creating separate incidents that represent each of your maintenance events. If there's additional functionality that this use case does not cover please let us know.
