ArcGIS Monitor 2023.1 - Software Architecture

Hi 

I've implemented the latest ArcGIS Monitor release 2023.1.

In this case I have a concern about using the filesystem on a windows machine (Windows Server 2016). The installation part distibutes to C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Monitor and to C:\Users\<SERVICEUSER>\AppData\Local\ESRI\ArcGISMonitor\config-store-server. Apart from the start-up of the Postgres database.

I'll suggest going to Esri default with an installation directory and a configuration directory (configurable) . Currently the configuration is stored in the Serviceuser directory. This could be a problem in hardened systems.

Otherwise, I like the new design. Keep it Up!

Hi Max,

Thank you for the feedback! This is in the product plan. In a future release of Monitor, you will be able to choose the location of the configuration store, very much like ArcGIS Server.
