I've encountered what is a baffling bug when I exported a map from ArcGIS Pro to aix format, then opened that aix in Adobe Illustrator (using the ArcGIS extension). All of the features of the map appear to be properly displayed EXCEPT in words in the labels (Calibri font, 8-pt) that have 2 letter Ts in a row, the second T is omitted. (The highlighted counties are supposed to be spelled with 2 Ts. They are of course correct in the layout in ArcPro before exported.) Any insight?

It looks like the solution is simple, but not intuitive (to me, anyway).
When exporting the .aix, just make sure the "embed fonts" box is NOT checked. Opening that aix in Illustrator seemed to have properly displayed the labels.
