Community Maps Data Prep Tools Q & A: Why do I receive an error when running the Run Me First tool?

This is a great question, and the one that the ArcGIS Content Team hears most often.

This is most likely due to the fact that the organization name entered in the second parameter is too long. The name can only be 20 characters in length, including spaces.

This restriction was implemented to prevent the geodatabase from becoming too large. You can feel free to use an acronym or abbrevation for this parameter.

We ask for this parameter in the Run Me First tool so we can easily reference the organization that contributed the feature(s) when working with the data in-house.
