Select features by drawing a point, rectangle, circle, line on the map

Hi all,

I want to add several buttons to select features by clicking a point, drawing a rectangle,  a circle, a line, or a polygon.

Is there a reason you're using the old version of the API (1.6 instead of 3.6)? Take a look at this sample that has a button to draw a rectangle to select features.
