When add DOM node to popupTemplate, the textbox cannot be focused. The issue only exist in version 4.6. I attached the sample codes. Run the sample codes in a browser, click on the point graphic. The infobox will popup. click on the textbox within the infobox. when you type, the cursor will go away after you type each char.
If you switch to 4.5, the textbox works normally.
