is javascript api and public maps are free to use ?

Hi, if i do a site with arcgis api for javascript 4.8 and use public available arcgis basemaps and tiled services. İs it free or not. Question is simple answer simple please

I am a esri customer (not an esri employee). Strange if your are an esri customer then where is the point in this thread? If you have an AGOL subscription then you would not be concerned about using the API for free, as has already been explained in previous replies.
