After the latest Windows update, we have been getting a 500 error when trying to access map services via the JS api. Has anyone else noticed anything strange? Please let me know what else would be helpful in figuring this out, I can get with the admin and get software versions, logs etc if needed. Everything is on the same domain.
If I use a port number I can access the service through the browser, but if I try to include the port number in the script, I get a CORS error.

Can anyone help?
Thanks
EDIT: I found these entries in the server manager log
SEVERE | Jan 22, 2015, 8:34:45 AM | Method failed.HRESULT = 0x80070057 : The parameter is incorrect. . | AECAM_MAP_COLLAPSE.MapServer |

I guess will try to register the web adaptor again.
No Web Adaptors are currently registered on this site.
EDIT 01/23
When trying to reconfigure the web adaptor, the config fails:
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object”
Solved! Go to Solution.
I found a solution I will try I think.. thanks for looking.
Web Adaptor -Application Error  Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
