Feature Layer browser memory consumption at version 5.x

Hi all,

At version 5.x, we realized that the esri workers management for FeatureLayers had a very much higher memory consumption that at version 4.34 (2-3X!). It certain cases this leads to a crash of the browser. What is the reason for this and is it possible to have control over it ?

With cases like memory consumption, we need as many details as possible. Can you share a simplified repro app that demonstrates the memory consumption issue you're seeing? Also, please share the specs for the browser and OS, as well as any screenshots of network traffic requests.
