I need to show states of usa on a map . im using http://server.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Ocean_Basemap/MapServer as a baseMap. Also I have to show some markers of differnt groups all over usa and color the states according to the maximum numer of markers of each type in it , kinda like a heat map. I have already displayed the markers . Now i just need to find which marker is in which state. Any help would be appreciated.
