which edition of ArcGIS server is required to use the ArcGIS JavaScript APIs (basic,standard or advanced)?
or no license is required for it??

You do not need ArcGIS Server to use the javascript API, it is free to use.

"The JavaScript API is hosted by ESRI on ArcGIS Online and is available for free use."
