I tried to add the new weather widget to an instant app. But nothing happens. Its sunny, no rain, clouds or what ever I try to do.
I cant see any configuration to this widget? Any sugestions?
The daylight widget works.  Help-text says these to are possible to combine. But I cant get it work at all.
The map is so far not public, so I am not able to share.

I check the json for the app with the ArcGIS Online Assistant. Could not see any configuration of the app there either, just placement on the screen.

Ok the problem is that the type of scene you are using isn't supported by the weather widget. We are making some updates to the app that should go out tonight to show an error in situations like this.  It requires a global scene.

I created a test app using the daylight and weather widget and looks like they are working in this example:

https://www.arcgis.com/apps/instant/3dviewer/index.html?appid=8ab591502d3f4370820cc79bed90df1e

Can you provide more details about your map that might help us determine what is different? One caveat about the weather widget is that if you are zoomed out too far you won't be able to see the weather visualization. We will work to add a warning note to the widget for the next release that notifies users that they aren't able to view the weather at some scales.

I made it public, then you can see. The weather widget works fine in your scene.

Sorry, it should be shared in public now. If that doesnt work, I could invite you to one of our groups?

Seems like i ran into another error - I am not able to publish the app public. All feature services are public. We have allowed anonymus access to our account. The web map works in public. BUt the instant app does not.
Then its hard for you to test. I think none of these two url's work.

Now I think I have managed to share the instant app publicly.  Had to recreate the app from start.

The weather widget still doesnt work.

Thank you! I reasoned exactly opposite, that I had to use a local scene.

@KellyHutchins  In the weather widget, can the user define precipitation and cloud cover value?
