Showing Related Tables in WebApps other than Web AppBuilder?

I created a web map that has a feature layer and two related tables. The feature layer is of hunting units while the related tables contain data about harvest and draw statistics. I started off by using my web map to create a web app using Web AppBuilder. The popup displays the related tables.

I then tried to add the Web AppBuilder URL into the Series Story Map. Once I loaded the map and clicked on a feature to look at the popup, the related tables were no longer appearing. The popup was basically what you see above minus the related tables section. The tables weren't appearing due to a mix content issue. I went back and added my layer and tables as https, saved the map as https, and changed the Web AppBuilder to https. I then loaded the map into the story map and the popups contained the related tables.

Now I want to to create a Web App using the Compare Anaylsis template. I create the app, but the popup doesn't contain any of the related table links. I tested using some of the other templates and none of them would contain the related table links in the popup. I made sure that everything was using https to avoid a mix content issue, but that didn't seem to solve the issue. I also noticed that in the web app created by Web AppBuilder had the related tables in the layer list, but in the basic viewer template they were not in the layer list. Its seems like the tables are not being loaded. Any idea how i get the related tables to appear in the popup in the Compare analysis web app?

The Compare Analysis configurable app doesn't support displaying related tables in the popup.

Are there any plans for incorporating this functionality? Showing related tables seem like a good way to compare data.

We don't have any current plans to add support for this capability but will incorporate it into the configurable apps once the capability has been added to the JSAPI popup.
