Portfolio Instant App Doesn't allow Export PDF or Export CSV

I have a Zone Lookup App and a Nearby App inside of a Portfolio App. After I "run the analysis" and get the results, there is a Export to PDF and Export to CSV button enabled on each of the Apps. 

Portfolio doesn't produce any PDFs or CSVs. 

On their own, these apps both produce PDFs/CSVs, but once inside Portfolio, that function is not executing. The button is there, I fill out the title, but then nothing happens.

Is this a bug or is there a secret setting in Portfolio to enable this? 

There is a similar post, but the solution was moving to experience builder, which I am not doing for this. Other Post

Hi @Teresa_Blader 

This is a known limit with Instant Apps embedded in Portfolio. We are looking into this and hoping to fix this in a future release.
