I have a Instant App set up, works great on Desktop, but can't use finger to Pan in map on mobile device. Can't pick center for zooming in and out. Can use bookmarks, but can't choose where to zoom in. Typical zoom features on mobile device, like two finger push and pull cause web browser to zoom in and out, not map.

App is Public: https://gis-olmsted.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/minimalist/index.html?appid=016b712cff56459b9edaf5c...

Tried enabling and disabling scrolling, no difference.

@Teresa_Blader, what mobile device are you using? I've just accessed your app using a Samsung S20 and it works like a dream! I even switched to viewing in desktop mode on the browser, and the pinch to zoom and swipe to pan all worked fine in both.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad it works on your device. I have an iPhone 6. Do you know, does that mean it's like a phone issue that Esri can't do anything about? Or do they need to configure it for iPhone 6?

Now that I'm looking, some of my other apps are no longer working on my iPhone that used to work. 😞

Teresa,

I tested with my iphone 11 and I am able to pan and use the bookmarksThe minimalist app uses the latest version of the ArcGIS API for JavaScript which has the following system requirements:

https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/system-requirements/

The above requirements note that it requires Safari 13-14. Did a quick google search and it doesn't look like iPhone 6 can be updated to Safari 13 or higher but you might want to ensure you have the latest ios updates and retest just in case?

Schucks! Well my iPhone 6 is stuck indefinitely at iOS 12.5.4. Thanks for the information, I will try to build in Web App Builder or Experience Builder then.

You may have the same experience with Experience Builder since it also uses version 4.x of the ArcGIS API for JavaScript.

That would probably explain some of the other app issues I'm having. Sad. Did this just happen recently?

I'm not sure but there may have been recent updates that are incompatible with Safari 12.
