For my attachment-focused app, I have my URL parameter set up to zoom based on Object ID (thanks to a recent update / issue I flagged on Esri Community a while ago). However, I can't find how to zoom to feature. The "level=" parameter I use for sidebar app URL parameters does not affect the map.
Is this capability supported for Attachment Viewer? If not, can we allow that? It would help greatly with the functionality of our automated emails and use of the app. Thank you!
Hi @Tiff
Thanks for reaching out about this. The "level=" parameter is supported in Attachment Viewer. Can you share an example of how you are trying to use it with an Attachment Viewer app?
Here is an example the the "level=" parameter in a link: https://webapps.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/attachmentviewer/index.html?appid=6c1ca6f5665e4353939ff...
Thanks!

Hi @SarahMcDonald_Esri, thanks for your response! Confirming the link you provided works with the zoom.
My URL doesn't have those other components like attachment index or center, but right after my link I have something like, "&defaultObjectId=344&level=17" and it selects the feature on the map but no zoom.
Interestingly it looks like it "tries" to zoom in upon loading the screen (see screenshot below), but then once it fully loads it zooms to the full map extent. I wonder if it is a setting that is preventing it from zooming properly. I tried turning off the "navigation boundary" setting with no success.
Please let me know if you have any leads! I can reach out offline to see if I can share the link with you securely if that is a better option.
Hi @Tiff
Thanks for providing the additional information. I will take a look at that and determine what the expected behavior should be. I know the attachment focused layout can be a bit tricky because of the open feature that is zoomed to.
I will report back once I have some more information.
Thanks!
Sarah
