Sidebar Instant App - Export/Print pop-up to include embedded PDFs

I am looking for ways to export existing data (one selection) to a printable PDF. Currently I'm trying out Instant App sidebar template with the print widget. However, attachments in the form of PDFs show up as a preview icon as opposed to an embedded PDF.

My idea is to include PDFs as embedded documents within the report. Is this possible? (in contrast to how it looks below)
