Pop-ups in Web Editor Template (Instant App)

I've created an AGOL instant app from a web map using the Web Editor Template.

I want to view the attributes from a hosted feature layer point in a pop-up while creating a feature in a different hosted feature layer. 

As far as I can tell, there isn't pop-up/identify/explore functionality in the Web Editor Template instant app. Could that functionality be added?

Hi @Bud, 

Thanks for sharing your idea. Pop-ups are supported in Web Editor with a few clicks. To view a pop-up, you can 

• Select a feature
• Open the Selection pane
• Click the options menu next to the feature name (...)  and choose Show pop-up.

Thanks! I wonder if this idea is still valid. Could a single-click pop-up button be added to the main UI?

Would it help if I changed the title of this idea to something like "Pop-up button in main Web Editor toolbar"?

Yep, the idea to access a pop-up with less clicks is totally valid, and something we're considering. It would be great to post the idea on the Web Editor board so folks can give it a thumbs up it there as well, and we can get an idea how important this is to Web Editor users.
