Add an option to preserve the current map extent when opening or switching between maps within the Atlas Instant App, rather than always resetting to the default extent.
This enhancement would resolve several integration challenges and significantly improve workflow efficiency and user experience.
Example scenario:
A user is currently viewing a property map and has reviewed all relevant details. They then need to check whether there are any scheduled works using the “Upcoming Works” map. At present, when the user opens the new map, the app automatically resets to its default extent. The user must then manually search for the same location again.
This results in unnecessary time loss and inconvenience. In some cases, not all maps are configured with search capabilities for subdivision plans or specific location attributes, making it even more time-consuming to relocate the area of interest.
Providing an option to retain the current map view extent when switching maps would greatly streamline this workflow.
