currently, the filter function on layer attributes only works with an 'equals' operator (as a default, no other option). Either a fuller set of operators, or at least a 'contains' option would be highly desirable - thanks!
Thanks for reaching out about Manager. Do you know which types of filters you are setting up? In our filter configuration we have a Predefined filter type and a User input type. The Predefined filter allows the app author to set up complex expressions, in the app the filter shows as a checkbox though.
For the User input filter type, app authors set this up by pointing to a field in the filter configuration. In the app a user can interact with that filter by choosing specific values from that field to filter by. App author can choose to use a text field, date field or an integer field.
