Hi Team,

We have recently started ArcGIS indoors in our organisation. when we create ArcGIS indoor Model in GDB, Can we integrate/combine other normal GDB feature class info with ArcGIS indoor dataset ?

Same above information (ArcGIS indoor dataset + Other GDB dataset info) together can be displaying on the indoor viewer map's popup?

If this is possible, then any documentation /information will be highly appreciated!

Thanks

Hi @GISFunctionalGroup, Yes you can integrate data from outside the indoor dataset in your floor-aware maps and include it in your Indoors web and mobile apps. Additional layers can be stored in the same geodatabase as your indoor dataset, but this is not a requirement. For features that exist inside buildings, the feature class just needs to have a field that identifies what floor each feature is located on (matching the LEVEL_ID field value of the levels feature) and you can then configure them as floor aware. You can then configure popups, categories, and launch actions for the layers as desired.

Here is some documentation to get you started:

Create additional features

Configure floor-aware layers

Get started with Indoor categories

Prepare a map for Indoor Viewer

hi @SophieFrank  @KadeSmith  @GISFunctionalGroup

I started using the indoor tool by taking this arcgis indoor course. However, although I used the data given in the training, for some reason I cannot activate the ground filter. Can you help me with this?

@SophieFrank Thanks for the detailed info about the Indoors. SUrely we will try this to integrate the other features within GDB.

Lets do indoors. Thanks a ton😊

Not only can you, but you gain advantages by doing so. For example, by having the other features in the same geodatabase, you can take advantage of attribute rules on those other features.
