ESRI Support Estimates:

We currently have 10 licensed version of ArcGIS Arc Editor, in addition to the license of ArcGIS Server, Image Server module activated.

We have not presented problems for loading images using Image Server and consuming them from our applications and from ArcMap and Arc Catalog.

Our question is directed to two things:

1) How to add "The Image Service Definition Editor toolbar, ArcMap and Arc Catalog. Please outline the steps and location

2) We know where it removes the "Server Name" tool "Add Image Server Conecction" because we have different ways the server and the port without connecting us ... should be that we are putting the name wrong but we have no clear explanations of esri ...

Thank you very much!

It sounds like you have:
ArcGIS Desktop (ArcEditor license)
ArcGIS Server, with the Image extension license

Have you used the ArcGIS Image Server extension in older versions and created image service definitions (ISDefs)? Do you want to continue working with these? If so, then you also need to install the ArcGIS Image Server (which is not the same as the Image extension license for ArcGIS Server). You will need to request this product since it's not provided by default.

But, we recommend that you migrate your ISDef's to a mosaic dataset. The image service definition (.ISDef) has been replaced by an improved geodatabase data model??the mosaic dataset. See: Migrating an .ISDef to a mosaic dataset

The mosaic dataset can be published as an image service from ArcGIS Server.

If you must use the ISDef, then you need to install ArcGIS Image Server. Then add the Image Service Definition Editor toolbar to ArcMap.
In order to publish the ISCDef as an image service, you must configure and register ArcGIS Image Server with ArcGIS Server.

For more explanation about the Image extension at 10, see Image extension.
