Hi,

I'm trying to use color balance with my mosaic dataset and I get this error :

All the raster datasets must have the same pixel type and pixel depth. Color correction will not be applied.

I have taken steps to check the rasters and they all have the same pixel type and pixel depth. So if someone here has a solution for me I would be very thankful.

With kind regards,

If you're getting the error then ArcMap must see something wrong with your dataset.  Depending on how many rasters you're working with you could try building an unmanaged raster catalog, load the problem raster or rasters then export the raster(s) according to the working raster(s) pixel depth / type. Then recreate your raster catalog with the corrected rasters and try your color balancing.  This worked for me but my raster datasets were of different pixel depths /types so this might be worth a try.  Good luck!
