Hello,

Can anyone point me to some documentation that explains the difference between ArcGIS Image Dedicated and ArcGIS ImageServer that is used in AWS? I cannot seem to find documentation that would guide us to one product over another.

Thank you,

Matt

Hi @mapmcburney, have you seen this blog article:

https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/imagery/guide-to-streaming-imagery/

The above combined with the info page on Image Dedicated: https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/arcgis-image/options/dedicated

seem to mean that image Dedicated is a Software that would either be some soft of interface or do some sort of processing on top of imagery that is stored on Azure or AWS Cloud storage.

Image Server would require an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment.

Hope that helps. It seems there isn't much info on Dedicated so it may not be used that much or you may have to contact an Esri sales person to gain more info.
