Why are the chart/map visualization options not available for all attributes?

Is it possible to make the chart and map visualization options available for all attributes? It appears to be available for text attributes, but not numeric attributes on our site, but I've seen it available on other sites for numeric attributes.

Hey there MARC.org‌. Thanks for catching this, we may have a bug in our heuristics for what is considered a chartable field. Looking at the stats for those fields there doesn't look like anything is improper. I'm pretty sure where that bug exists and will be working on it.
