I see what you are saying. I don't like that feature of Hub either, it's terrible. The only way I could get around this was to use custom html to create the gallery cards so that I could link users directly to my application without being linked to the application within the hub site, if that makes sense. If that is something you are interested in doing, then below is the html. I don't think the site will track hits on apps this way if you are trying to stream a gallery of your most popular apps is the only downside.
