We are trying to set up an open data beta site and we are having trouble when we click through from the categories buttons.  It comes up with a 404 Error page saying "So sorry. We looked everywhere and just can't seem to find what you were looking for."

We have configured the category buttons to work with specific groups that are all configured for public and open data access.

Any ideas what would be causing this error?  It seems like the dataset page is missing?

We are now seeing an issue where our datasets descriptions are not showing on the portal. Is this related to changes recently made?

Hi Adrian, could you please share a URL?

Thanks,

Daniel

I see the issue. It's not related to a recent change but it is an unintended consequence of the search beta. We'll get a fix out for that shortly.

Thanks Daniel. Should we disable the search beta for now or will doing that that cause some issues to URLs on the site?

It's up to you whether you want to disable the beta, it won't cause any issues with URLs. This issue only effects Feature Servers with only one layer that are registered without the layer ID in the url. We'll have a fix out today.

OK, we just disabled the search beta and we also noticed it fixed other issues we were seeing around WFS and geodatabase exports.

Please let us know when its safe to come back

What are the issues you were seeing with WFS? With FGDB exports, is it that the custom distribution is not there?
