Wondering if there's any strategies I've missed when dealing with a Min / Max scale on map service layers.
For example, our roads centrelines have over 26,000 records: Road Centrelines however, they have a min scale of 1950. So the map and density of features doesn't provide anything until someone zooms in. It's makes sense the map display is inheriting the scale dependencies from the service layer. Is there any way to override this (short of having a layer published without scale dependencies)?
