If you were at DevSummit, it was great to see you! If you weren't, fret not - GeoNet brings us all together.

At DevSummit we had a couple sessions of customizing Open Data sites, and we're sharing out the site we used to showcase lots of neat features, tips and tricks, and the like. This will be a living document that we update as we roll out new features and new ways to style things. Take a look and let us know if you have any questions! We can't wait to see what you make.

Is this still valid for the version 2 Open Data Portal?

Is there a way to modify or customize the pages for individual data layers?  I'd like to add a simple line of text directing users to the Help page, similar to the image I attached...

Hi Bob,

No, we do not support customization of individual dataset pages. You could edit the description of your Parcels item to include a link to the help page.

Curious - why would you like to send users to another page to download data?

Thanks,

Courtney

We don't want to send anyone to another page to download- we want to refer them to our Help page for instructions on how to download data.
