When the “Extract” feature is enabled, the Excel file generated by the Hub site does not conform to Microsoft Excel standards and cannot be opened in Excel. As a result, the files are unusable for end users and hinder our ability to safely enable this feature.
According to Microsoft’s documented Excel specifications and limits, a single worksheet supports a maximum of 1,048,576 rows and 16,384 columns. Datasets exceeding these limits should be split across multiple sheets or handled differently.
Please address this fundamental issue by either resolving the underlying defect or automatically disabling the “Download Excel” option when the number of records exceeds the supported limit.
