GA layer to Raster

I have spent some time trying to fix this "problem". I have adjusted the cell size and done everything else I could think of. I have been able to use the GA_Layer_to_Grid tool to produce a raster for the layer that I produced with the Geostatistical Analyst. However, the image from the raster looks very different (i.e. much more angular, jagged, linear, and abrupt rather than smooth, gradual, and curved).

Can anyone advise me of how to produce a raster that looks like the GA layer?

I would include/attach screen shots to give a visual, however the organization I work with has computer restrictions up that prevent me from including these.

Please read this topic for an explanation of what is happening:

If you use a smooth searching neighborhood when creating the geostatistical layer, the exported raster usually looks much more like the geostatistical layer.
