hi every one,I m using EBK regression prediction for my data ,but couldn't find any literature about this method, in term of mathematical equation used for this interpolation
You missed the help topics??
You do know why you are using it presume?
yes ,I already read this description ,I m using it to map ozone concentration using elevation as predictor, since I found they are correlated, I tried it and I found pretty nice result ,If you know some books about this method or related topic ,it will be great, the issue I can't understand how this method integrate regression and kriging in term of mathematical equation.
I will move this to the https://community.esri.com/community/gis/analysis/geostatistical-analyst?sr=search&searchId=67753e96... place to see if it will rustle a few responses from the dev team there. Perhaps there is a reference list that can would be useful to tie the topics together.
yes nice idea,thank you
In addition to the link provided by Dan, you may want to read this issue of ArcUser.
http://www.esri.com/news/arcuser/1012/files/arcuser59/arcuser59.pdf or through this link: Empirical Bayesian Kriging
At page 6 (or 7) of the PDF an article starts about how it is implemented in ArcGIS, although it does not contain not many formulas.
